Ravens Youth Football and Cheer Volunteer Policy
Ravens Youth Football and Cheer operates solely by volunteers. One of the ways we keep registration fees so low is by requiring parents to volunteer at games 5-6 hours per season (specific hours to be determined after roster is finalized). Please keep in mind this volunteering expectation is per child and mandatory.
If you would prefer, you may pay a fee instead of volunteering. The fee is $60 and must be paid by July 29th, 2011. Please ask John Guevarra or Danielle Mirelez for details if you are interested in the waiver or in earning extra hours.
A sign-up form will be circulated prior to the season starting; parents who have not paid for a waiver and are not signed up will be assigned positions. It is the parents’ responsibility to swap shifts in the event they are unable to work that day. Assignments will be EMAILED, again you are responsible for serving or filling that shift. All volunteers are responsible for having their time sheet signed by the volunteer coordinator; there will be no credit for unsigned time sheets.
Players whose parents have not served their volunteer time (or paid a waiver) will not be allowed to participate in playoffs.
